Icebreaker
Short, 15 - 30 minute, activities that get campers ready for our daily activity and major projects. Icebreakers include games like charades, tongue twisters, telephone game, and more.
"Charades"
Daily Activity
"Fall Semester Review"
Students completed note cards in order to present a 1-2 minute speech next week, with the purpose of demonstrating what they learned last semester. Students that did not complete the cards took them home for home work.
Major Project
"Calendars, To-Do List, and Schedules"
Students were presented with blank calendars, to-do list, and schedules. They filled out their daily and weekly routines. We discussed time management and optimizing our time. Students were assigned to make a schedule for the following week, try and follow the schedule during the week, make adjustments on the schedule, and present them in class next week to see how close they were to keeping their schedule.
